Salvatore Ferragamo Group is one of the world's leaders in the luxury industry and its origins date back to 1927. The Group is active in the creation, production and sale of shoes, leather goods, apparel, silk products and other accessories, along with women's and men's fragrances. The Group's product offer also includes eyewear and watches, manufactured by iicensees.

Salvatore Ferragamo was born June 5th, 1898 in Bonito, a small village near Naples, in the South of Italy.
After joining his brothers in the US in the 20's, Salvatore Ferragamo opens up the Hollywood Boot Shop. He quickly becomes known as the "Shoemaker to the stars".
In the 30's Salvatore Ferragamo returns to Italy and buys Palazzo Spini Feroni in Florence, and it becomes the headquarters. The same year Salvatore creates the famous "Rainbow" sandal for Judy Garland, just one year after registering the patent for the cork wedge heel.
Ferragamo has gained international success; celebrities like Audrey Hepburn and the Duke of Windsor visit the boutique in Florence.
When Salvatore Ferragamo died in 1960 he had realised the great dream of his life: to create and produce the most beautiful shoes in the world. His family was left the task of carrying on and fulfilling the plan that Salvatore had nurtured in his final years: transforming Ferragamo into a great fashion house continuously evolving and established worldwide.
In honor of the unveiling of the Gancini we bring you a series of exciting projects. On the digital side, we present the mastermind Bryanboy as the Director of Made in Florence short films. They portray a witty and humorous side of living life through a digital lens. The short films feature talent such as, Aureta, Carlo Sestini, Carolin Daur, Diet Prada, Pelayo Díaz, Susie Bubble and Tamu McPherson. Together this group co-created a portfolio of innovative, immersive and entertaining content that highlights the unique status of the Gancini symbol.
