LSA International is one of Europe’s leading brands of contemporary handmade glass and porcelain. Launching over 250 new products each year, the brand is admired globally for its unique style and enduring quality.
At designjunction 2017, LSA International will present new pieces from their Autumn Winter 2017 collection alongside a selection of items from their current portfolio. Expect contemporary designs across bar, tabletop and decorative categories as well as unique studio pieces that demonstrate the skilled glass hand-production techniques with which the brand is synonymous. Enamel, wood and leather also feature, re-introduced to celebrate the company’s 50th year. Inspired by original designs archived from the 60s and 70s, repurposing these materials reflects LSA International’s heritage through a modern lens while adding colour, texture and tactile finishes to the range. Show highlights include:
A new capsule collection of mouthblown drinkware defined by modern, refined shapes
Fabric-inspired vases, individually made by hand – unique studio pieces
Versatile block-shaped vases and containers, inspired by architectural structures
Balancing form and function, these multipurpose designs were launched to celebrate LSA International’s use of 5 materials throughout the past 5 Decades
The vision of designer, Monika Lubkowska-Jonas, each piece is designed in the UK and made in Europe by some of the world’s most skilled artisans.
LSA International's designs are brought to life by some of the world’s most talented craftsmen, located in Poland - a country with a long and rich heritage in glass, porcelain and wood production. Their skills have been refined and perfected over several generations and the process continues to evolve as LSA International explore new techniques.
